Fresh water overflow leaking while driving

Has anyone had issues with water coming from fresh water overflow tube while driving? I lost 1/3 of my water driving to my destination this weekend. When I would make right hand turns I could see a lot of water coming from the driver side trailer behind the wheel. I have a 2022 Tab 400 Boondock edition and have used it about 10 times this summer with no issues until this last trip. I plugged the fresh water overflow tube and drove around with no leaks. I then unplugged the tube and drove around with water leaking during right hand turns. I don't take turns and curves fast.

I have a 2022 320 boondock .  Same issue.  This is the second weekend where we ran out of water

I fixed the problem by adding a shutoff valve to the overflow line. I close it when I travel and leave it open all other times. Problem solved.

@Greenbean Can you please post a picture of your fix?  How did you attach it to the overflow line?

I no longer own the camper. I used a 1/2 inch ball valve and attached it to the overflow tube with a 1/2" pex crimp ring.
