Lithium Battery Venting Question

A couple of years ago, I replaced my original dual, 6-volt AGMs with a single 200 AH Ampere battery which I installed in the original enclosed plastic vented battery box under the bed on the passenger side of my 400. The lithium battery fit in the original enclosure but the hassle of removing and reinstalling the battery that I do for winter storage makes me wonder if I still need to use the enclosure with the lithium battery. When I reinstall the battery come spring, can I discard the vented battery box which would make removing/installing the battery a whole lot easier? Any thoughts?

I installed lithium batteries a few years back and they are not vented. I am under the impression (based on what I saw online) that they do not need to be vented because they do not off-gas.

Correct, lithium batteries do not off gas and no venting is required, from what I have read.

I deleted the box and used the vent hole to install a sidewall solar connector.
