Quiet water pump

2018 Tab 400. 

Just installed a Lippert flow max pump to replace a Shurflo that had lousy pressure. New pump has good pressure but is EXTREMELY LOUD. Any recommendations? Thanks

The standard, Shurflo, pump mounts to a soft, think rubber mount to isolate sound. How is the new pump mounted?

Check out IRVWPC pump controller.

I put one in on my 2018 400 and it really reduces the noise. Easy to install and does take up the whole compartment.

Installed Valterra water pump silencing kit (two long hoses). Makes a big difference. Also fixed low pressure problems. As noted by another member drill shavings from manufacturing of water tank end up clogging the line between tank and filter. Clear the line and presto! Shouldn’t NuCamp dealt with this before selling the trailer?

I added a SeaFlo accumulator tank to my ShurFlo pump. Cut the noise in half. Might cushion the pex pipes next but it’s so much better that I’m not sure it’s needed. Added benefit is the pressurized tank lets water flow smoothly instead of pulsing.

You have any pictures of how that fit?

This is my accumulator install in the sink cabinet.  It made a tremendous difference in my 2009 CS.  I don't seem to need one in my 2023 CSS.
