DC power oddments

So the DC cig lighter works in both outlets by sink, and drivers side rear under the hutch.
the USB ports do not work.
I double checked all grounds, and all fuses on the fuse side of the electrical center thingy.
Everything on the wire bus on the floor behind the electrical thingy are tight.
I added a NEW ground inside the battery area from the neg battery pole to the steel frame of the red
plastic thingy
open to suggestions...

The extra ground goes from the negative post on the battery to the frame of the red thingy, it is steel, I checked it w/ a magnet.

The USB ports are a weak link.  Best to replace them with a beefy 12V outlet and use a USB adapter.  The solo USB outlets draw phantom power.

Lots of different Threads about the USB Port Failing.
They just aren't very high quality . . . do some Forum Searches and plan on replacing them . . .

The USB cable ports are nice, but many owners have passed them by with simple 12V ports and car charging adapters.
