The only justification that I can come up with is that it gives us a way to release the brakes after they have been activated and you can't reinsert the pin. Of course a better way would be to have a separate emergency brake switch to bypass the pin switch.Yoshi_TAB said:On another note, I hate that the battery switch has to be on for the Ebrake to work.

Or add a utility trailer ebrake battery backup box, about $54. This one has self test and charge lights. Charges from tow vehicle or cross charge from nucamp I guess. Probably would need to address higher LiPoFe trailer battery voltage state with some sort of intermediary device.
