Cushion covers- great for dogs-economical

I used 4 mini-crib/play yard fitted, quilted waterproof sheets (39" by 27" by 5") to cover the dinette and sofa bench cushions.

Then I used zippered king size pillow cases (20" by 36") for the back cushions on the side benches.  A standard pillowcase will work on the odd shaped sofa side cushions.

I removed the glued Velcro strips from the bottom of dinette bench cushions.  The Velcro caught on the sheets.  Also, I was tired of the mess that the glue made on the cushion bottom.  After spot testing,  I used GooBGone on the vinyl cushion bottom.  I rinsed frequently with water after applying in small sections with no problems.  (I'm not sure if the Velcro was factory or done by previous owner).

I also used zippered king sized pillow cases on the insert cushion I made for the 5 1/2 board extension twin bed mod.

The play yard sheets were $26 for a package of 2.  The king size pillowcases were $15 for package of 2.  So total cost was under $100.

I'm very happy with the covers.  The dog likes them too!
