Hello, I have a question in reference to the Air8 return cabin air, since the AC is enclosed in a wooden frame box with no vent slots on any of the surrounding box walls.
How does the cabin return air reach the AC unit when inclosed in a frame box?

I have heard the air returns to the box via the spaces between the top wood/cushions allowing return air to the unit, not sure that would work I guess I am missing something, but if a 2” mattress topper is used to sleep on covering the spaces between cushions on the entire top area, that would restrict the return air to the Air8 AC.

There are openings at floor level and at the back of the bed area that allow air to flow.
