@ericnliz ... oh that's awesome news! SOOO looking forward to getting it. PS - I assume even though you have a 2016 T@B Max and I have a 2018 T@B 320s, that the stabilizer "nut" (or whatever it's called) are the same?

@Gidget While I’m not sure about the 400s, I think all of the 320s, including Boondocks, employ the same stabilizers, so you’re gold.

I found that a 3/4" deep socket works perfectly.  I have a ton of them lying around so just keep that with a drill socket adaptor with me.  Also these work good too and they are very inexpensive, plus you can use it for multiple socket sizes.  A good way to pack light and still have some useful tools with you:

    hi there
I have a 2017 T@B outback and I tried to get a wing nut driver from amazon but when it came in it wasn't big enough for the screw-thingy on the leveler. Advice?? Thanks in advance!

@Gidget and @Verna ---  I have been resisting the drill option, but every time I lower or raise the stabilizers, my resistance gives a little.  Suggestions for a rechargeable drill to use that Ultra-Fab Products 48-979071 Ultra T-Slot Drill Attachment with that doesn't take up too much space?  Also, do you need any other adapters to reach the stabilizers?

BTW, price on Amazon is currently $11.39, or I could go to eTrailer and get the same thing but with the eTrailer logo on it for $20.39!  Decisions, decisions.   ;)

@PNWtabber, the $11.39 attachment from Amazon is fine, as it is the one I used with my 2014 T@B S Max.

I use a DeWalt 20V drill as the batteries are able to be used in my other cordless DeWalt tools. This one comes with a battery charger and a second battery.

Yep to all the above from @Verna. Drill, extension, socket, et al.

It's the only way to go. Just go sloooow.

I used one brand for the drill and assorted other tools.  Makes battery swapping and charging easier.

Merry Christmas to me!  My son got me a drill (Ryobi 18V 3/8") and an "eaz lift" scissor jack slotted drill attachment.  The attachment is 8 inches in length.  Will I need an additional extension piece?

We bought a used ⅝ deep socket (or spark plug socket) with ⅜ drive for $1.00 at
a flea market or Goodwill.   We used a cut-off wheel on a grinder and put a notch in it so it looked like Verna's, and Walla!   Done deal for 1 dollar.

I use the OEM hand crank for the exercise. Goes pretty quick, especially if you use leveling blocks in the rear for base pads. That also seems to help steady the the rear stabilizers.

@DukeHewett, you did exactly what I did, 5/8" deep well 3/8" drive impact socket, ground the slots with a side grinder.  However, early on I decided I liked the tactile feel of cranking the stabilizers by hand with a long 3/8" extension.  I like the "feel" of manually setting the amount of pressure put on the stabilizers, probably a throwback to my auto mechanic background.

I agree Dave, even though I have he drill adapter, I use the manual crank to lower the stabilizers.  That said, if you have a drill driver with an adjustable clutch, you can set it to get the same tension on the stabilizer.
