Breakaway brake cable

The cable to the breakaway pin on our 2021 T@B 400 corroded and broke. I went to pull the pin to attach the new cable and the pin would not come out. I even disconnected the trailer switch and the 7 pin connector and then pulled with a pliers. Would not budge. Any thoughts?

It takes a lot to pull out the pin. Worst case scenario, just replace the entire switch.Sharon / 2017 T@B CSS / 2015 Toyota Sienna Minivan / Westlake, Ohio
