Want to replace heavy table with Lagun-- help please

I have a 2018 Tab 400-- which has the really heavy table & I can't deal with it.  Have read old posts--Verna's post & Geo Montana post on putting in a Laguna table & the support structure added to the panel that covers Alde stuff.

I removed the screws on each side near the floor of that panel/ Alde cover between the front seats but the "cover" is still solid & I can't tip it forward to peek behind that front panel to see where wires & other stuff is.  Where are the other screws to take out so that cover will tilt forward?

When I did my conversion I didn't remove that panel.  I just screwed a block of wood to it, then built a box around it that I mounted the Lagun mount to.  The box follows the contour of the floor and when I fastened it to the block (hidden) I made sure it was pressed down on the floor so the floor takes the vertical load.  I'm not able to find it, but I used a tool box wood top from Home Depot to build the box and to use as the top.

Thanks so much for the info & pics!  You do beautiful work!  Are you using the lagun table as the bed platform for use as a bed in that area?  If so did you put the hook attachments on the lagun table from the heavy original table?

Thank you!  We don't use that area as a bed, so I haven't set up the table to support the mattress section.  If I were to, I would just lay the table on the support structure around the outlet, with some framing to get the height right, and possibly add a swing down leg to the table, similar to the original table.  Here's a view from the bottom.  The table mount is pretty offset to the front, hence why the support box on the floor comes out so far aft.

Thanks for the pics— I  want to do this!  Another plus is you don’t have that terribly heavy & cumbersome old table.

I have a 2019 t@b 400 BDL and wanted to replace the heavy table.  Learned nuCamp put a lighter weight table on later models, so I just bought the new one from them.  Much lighter and easier to move.

Hmmm—-What year was is that they changed?  What was the cost on the new table?

My sincere apologizes, I did not see your question.  I'm not sure when the new table was offered, but I think I purchased ours in Augu 2020 and the cost was $135.30.  There is a slight size difference according to my wife - she says it's a bit narrower and shorter, meaning doesn't still as far out into the camper as the old.  It is DEFINITELY lighter.
