Help - Remove rear bumper cover

How do you remove the rear bumper cover? My power wire for the rear camera was spliced into the lic plate light and it shorted out. I want to check that it did not damage the wire further back but there is only about 1/2 available and I’m going to have to cut that to put the replacement light in. I took the bottom screws off but I can’t figure out where this part detaches at the top.

Hi, After you get that sorted out, consider running a wire under the trailer back to the junction box under the front end of the trailer where your 7 pin gets connected.  The junction box probably has a knock out , where you can run the wire to the running light terminal.  Then you never have to worry about the difficult access.

I recall some being attached merely with adhesive…not sure how true that is. I believe ours has an aluminum rail that the plastic cover sits on like a cleat but it may also be attached with screws somehow.

Thank you!!! I have a surf board on the bed that I have to take it out through the window so I did not want to go the bed route just to look and it not be there.
