Is anyone else reconsidering next years camping plans? Probably too much of a "cut off your nose to spite your face" reaction, but I'm just not sure I can do it. Not looking for political discussion, just a simple yes or no to get a general consensus and sanity check.

Not sure where you are going with this. I've had no reason to reconsider camping plans for next year and continue planning, my health is good, my camper is fit and ready to go and I am willing. Barring any health related issues I see no reason not to camp and explore.

We are planning a long awaited trip to Yellowstone.  Sure hope we can get a couple of good spots.  Good way to support our National Parks!

We went to Yellowstone last summer @Sharon_is_SAM. It was fun and interesting. You'll enjoy it! The only down side was the crowds. The best part of the trip was after we left and spent a lot of time in the Twin Lakes area of Colorado. Mostly primitive campsites. Almost ran into Jenn there camping very close to where she was staying. We had been seriously thinking of going back to Alaska next year since we didn't spend enough time there in '22, but may just explore Canada instead. It's all up in the air right now.

My wife and I are planning our first long trip in the t@b 400. We bought it last winter, and went for several long weekends this year. Will be going down to hot springs, huntsville, TX and Galveston TX in April. Will be interesting to see how we cope for an extended period in this small space, lol.

Is there something I don't know?  I'm hoping to do a lot of camping next year.  Health issues of family members really limited our ability to travel this year.  Praying for a heathier 2025!

Not changing plans, still making them.  Somewhere in the northern Rockies and a few more local ones.

Yes at first we were thinking that. Then we thought we are not going to let it get the best of us and we still want to see more of our beautiful national parks. Hopefully heading south in the spring from NJ.

My camping season in the Northeast kind of goes like this. Spring is camping at canoe events and doing antique shows. July is typically camping at music fests. August is camping in the mountains. September/October is camping and a couple more antique shows. In the Summer if you want a site on the water (we do a lot of canoeing) the reservation system here for New York State Parks is nine months in advance for the best sites. This year I've finally been lucky and reserved two of our favorite more remote sites on the water for the month of August. One in the Catskills and one in the Adirondacks. Haven't been able to get either one of them in years and have had to reserve alternant sites. Last time we got them was over twelve years ago when we had a campervan. 2026 will most likely be a couple month trip out West.

We are thinking of going to Las Vegas with my husband) we have never been there but some friends recommended us)

I have already chosen a holiday package, so I have high expectations from this holiday. We took it from here: https://www.westgateresorts.com/vacation-packages/

That's a curious choice @jebber. Why Las Vegas?

Well, after the election I am not following any news except for light and fluffy entertainment news if that. So I guess if the world is ending, it will end with us smiling and enjoying our super cute T@B. I can't let outside influences affect my fun and adventure.

My husband has to turn in his four weeks vacation at the end of this year so we have already planned trips to meet some T@B Friends, Visit the Minnesota Renaissance Festival, go to Fargo because we have yet to spend the night in North Dakota, head to Chicago to eat SuperDawgs and visit their wonderful county campgrounds and museums. Not sure what we are going to do with our other full week but we have it on the calendar. Then we have lots of long weekends tied to bank holidays.  We live in Missouri and our state park system is so incredible that we will visit one of them at least every month. We have the guideline of if it's a regular weekend stay within an hour from home and that gives us four choices. If it's a long weekend try to keep it around two hours and that adds on another six parks.

Have fun and be safe out there!
