We have decided to sell our T@b 320 and move up to something a little larger.
I want to thank all of you for making this forum such a wonderful and helpful place.  The Tab was my first trailer and your help really helped me enjoy it.  I am amazed at the talent of you all and your passion for helping other owners.
I especially want to thank the moderators for making this such a safe and useful place.

Happy Travels and Blessings,
Kirk and Candy
PS After much agonizing, we ordered a Casita.  So now to a BIG trailer (17 ft!)

@K_C_915 I would love to learn which Casita you chose and why. What problems will it solve for you vs the 320, and why not the 400 or Escape 17? I like the shape and size of the Casitas. Thank you!

@dsfdogs There were two things about the 320 that were negatives to me.  I was tired of reconfiguring the bed every night and morning and the lack of room to do this.  The other thing was maintaining the cool things in the Tab (window shades, screen door, and Alde) were getting time consuming and expensive.  They are great when new, but a bit trouble some as they age and need service. That is one of the reasons why we decided not to move to the 400.

We still want the capability to "entertain" 4 adults inside the trailer during poor weather.  (We were able to do this a couple of times with the 320) The 400 can't do this. That was probably the main reason the 400 won't work for us (or the 360 for that matter).

The Casita layout we decided is the Spirit Deluxe.  It has a four person dinette that makes into a RV queen and a separate two person dinette that makes into a single bed.  Our thought is to keep the 4 person dinette as a bed for one of us and some stuff and use the 2 person dinette for daily use and a bed for one of us at night.  We still need to convert things at night, but my hope is this will be easier.  We will still have the option of the larger dinette if needed for visitors.

The Escape 17 is much nicer than the Casita, but the front dinette when made into a bed looks harder to get in and out.  Also, I decided if I am going to get a trailer without a nearby dealer, Rice Texas is closer to me than Canada.  The price difference is not insignificant either.  With that said, If I wanted to go to a 20 foot RV, I would have probably gone with the Escape 19.

There are things about the Tab that we will really miss.  The Keader Rail awning options and the Alde are the first two that come to mind.  I liked being the only RV in the park with awning up during gusty wind days.  The storage bin on the 320 will be missed too.

The Casita has its own unique quirks, but as we all know, every RV is a compromise.
The NuCamp quality is great.  I sure hope the Casita will have the same quality level.

Thanks for the great question.  Happy travels and blessings!

@K_C_915, that whole reconfiguring thing was a big turn off for us too. Our german shepherd sort of forced our hand on our solution, dump the big bed and go two singles.  We got the floor space we needed and pushed Patsy (the dog) to a spot up front that doesn't block the bath door or access to it.  Single bunks means we just roll up the toppers and we have our benches back for meals. We don't even raise the bench back, if company rolls in we don't want them to be too comfortable  =)
