We do a lot of cooking outside and have a nice setup for that, but we do cook inside as well. If you pop the front window and turn on the roof vent there is no lingering smell so why not? We love the big fridge but additional counter space is always useful so I did some reconfiguring. I removed the one piece glass sink/stove cover and replaced it with a two piece setup. This allows for the left side to be used as a removable cutting board, or as a prep area while cooking. The right side can be flipped up to the side for stove use, or flipped down for counter space, or used as a slightly pitched drying and drain board (my favorite since I usually get stuck with the dishes). This arrangement just makes the whole area more flexible. Additionally, I removed the TV and its associated wiring and used that space for some new shelving. This is very handy for storage while parked and especially good for meal prep. I was able to use the TV mounting hardware and some other creative approaches so all of the improvements are 'non-destructive' and could be removed if I need to go back to stock configuration. Just some ideas for those considering how they might use this kitchen.
Great job. That’s how NuCamp should’ve done the top for better versatility. I’m gonna wait for the CS if my dealer gives me a price under 40k and put in a bowl countertop sink where your sink is.

@MTFLY Yeah, I've been saying the same thing (and I'm sure everyone is tired of it)-- Nucamp should just have a small sink up there on the CS. The only concern with adding it is that the plumbing stuff will all have to be added-- water supply and drain.
Too much money for additional headroom but no more bathroom space and kitchen space than our 320 made us go another route. Really wish they had added additional bathroom space where the stereo is. Will be sad to see our 320 go and leave the T@B family but we'll have tons more room in the same footprint and weight as the 360.

We went with the KZ Sportsmen130RD. 16.5'/2,570 lbs. Several manufacturers have them with nearly the same floorplan in 16', Forest River, Coachmen, Sun Lite, etc. The Sportsmen was the only one with no real design/layout faults. I still have to dump around 3,000-4,000 into it for the modifications I want but out of all of them I saw and went through the Sportsmen has a full dry bath and more windows. Wife wasn't interested in anything with a wet bath. Just got the batteries and roof solar in this week and will be adding those when it warms up a little here. Also new wheels/tires, and f few other minor additions. If it was just me solo I would keep the 320 as the interior quality is good on the 2021 but I have to admit it's nice to have headroom, a kitchen with counter space, and lots of storage again. Wife hated banging her head all the time. Heading out in May for a month or two so I have some time to make the upgrades. Considered the 360 at first but besides more headroom it didn't fix the things I didn't like on the 320 and even with the upgrades this is half the cost. Couldn't justify spending double the cost.

Interesting @SLJ. Some really nice features. The weight looks like it could still be towed with a 3500 pound tow rated vehicle. Is that a climb-over sleeping arrangement? We sleep side-to-side, so no difference for us. We've modded our 320 for the same 54" wide bed. We like that we can leave the bed set up permanently and still have table seating for two. I'm wondering the wheel-well placement would allow you to have the same?

May I ask your opinion on build quality? My wife and I spent the day today at the MD RV Show. Looked at many in the 16'-20' range. Very nice as they sit on the showroom floor. We are looking for just a bit more "elbow space" than our '21 320. Twin beds or walk around queen is a must have for us. We saw many, but the need to conduct quarterly seam/joint inspection (we saw stickers on many with this note) "scared us" along with many more roof penetrations and obvious build quality. I went to some of the forums and saw a lot of quality issues with the brands we looked at. I do take that with a grain of salt as I know we even see that on the TAB FB sites. I have 38K miles on our 320 with not one quality issue. Hard to leave a brand with that experience. I know the cost of the 360 is a tough pill to swallow, but we are still leaning that way for piece of mind. TY

There's pros and cons on the quality. First, these don't have a one piece metal roof. They mostly have a EPDM rubber roof so you will need to inspect them every year. We've had other campers and motorhomes with this type of roof (T@B's the only one that doesn't that we've had) and I have a garage to keep it out of the weather so it's not a problem for me. Dicor sealant is pretty easy to work with and you can walk on these roofs. The outside walls are a wood frame with insulation so that's a negative.
The plus for us is a full frame, real door with a screen door with a dog panel, and easier access to the plumbing (even a panel to get to the bottom of the shower). A negative over the newer T@Bs is a wood bottom floor and no cassette toilet. I like the cassette but my wife hated using it as the bowl was too shallow. So pro is a full size toilet, con is back to a black tank that has to be dumped. I won't miss the T@B windows as the front one seems to be a problem to keep it aligned from day one and the shade stringing system can be a problem.
Non are perfect. The Forest River/Coachmen we considered has a fresh water tank that hangs down unprotected under the frame with the outlet even lower. I was leaning toward those until I saw the tank location and them cheating on the bed width (hangs over the frame by several inches). The Sportsmen has minor design/parts issues (tires/vents) but those I can change. The others I could not. Don't be dazzled by their flashing lights. A couple had the stove right next to the bed. Wife said no way. The Sun Lite we looked at had a terrible table set up. The Forest River and Coachmen we looked at actually had another piece of plywood you had to carry to make the dinette into a bed. You couldn't use the table... stupid design. They only had two windows and only a roof vent in the bathroom. Felt like you were stuffed in a box. It's hard getting around them literally being half the cost of a T@B though and we typically only keep a camper for four to five years.
