Tab 400 Leak cold water line going to kitchen sink

I hadn't used my trailer in over a year, and decided to get it up and running again. When I hooked up the water, water started spraying out at the connection pointed highlighted in yellow. Do I need to replace the black connector or the female part, or just put some pipe thread on? Can I just get these parts at Home Depot or are they special RV stuff?

Having just faced this same problem, I would recommend the following:  Remove the faucet, purchase a nice aftermarket on Amazon (the most common recommended come with hoses), get a plex cut tool and cut the plex under those plex clamps.  Purchase two Shark Bite connectors (3/8 to 1/2) with the Shark Bite removal tool.  Took me about an hour after I had all the right parts.  Better connectors.  I've read somewhere that using pipe thread on plastic connectors isn't recommended.  I did post all this on a discussion I started when mine leaked a few weeks ago while on an RV trip.

I also just replaced the faucet. Although I did not have a leak in this area that you describe, I did take a look at the connector. There seems to be a ball check valve in the black portion of the connector. I assume this is to prevent water from backing down the hose. I went a different route than above. I simply used a brass adapter to connect to the black portion with teflon pipe thread (the ribbon, not the paste). I looked at the directions on the paste (because I had it also), and it did state not to use on plastic (probably because it makes it weaker). So I opted to use the teflon pipe thread tape. I have not tested it yet (still winterized), but will be the first thing I do when I get ready for the camping season.

You might want to make sure that the pipe connectors are tight first and ensure the leak isn't coming from the clamping area first. Those connectors have a washer in them that will seal when appropriately tightened. If you have some crack in the fitting or pipe, then you will have to replace.
