Dutchman T@B Tires and Wheels, Cool-Cat A/C

rzabelrzabel Member Posts: 23
We've completed our most recent upgrades to make our 2008 DM T@B more off-road friendly ( https://tab-rv.vanillacommunity.com/discussion/18411/2008-t-b-overland-upgrades-and-spare-parts-available#latest ).

Parts still available are the following:

Cool-Cat A/C and thermostat - worked fine the last time we tried it, but that was years ago - Free
Original Alloy Wheels with nearly new larger 205/75R16 MS tires and spare 15" steel wheel with size-matched tire - $150

We are located in Central Oregon.

Please let me know if you would like additional information on anything.  Feel free to make an offer, I'd like to save these items from the landfill.

Regards,

Rick

    Hi Rick,

I am in the process of evaluating my axle and a friend sent me a link to your post.

I've got a 2005 T@B and can see that the rubber "torsion bars" have dried out and cracked. I looked at replacement options, but that looks too much work. Do you still have the axle parts.

As it happens, I live in Central Oregon. I would if the parts are gone, also be interested in learning more about the replacement axle you installed.

    All the best,
    Burt

We corresponded last year, but it took me awhile to actually get the job done and have the shocks available.  I can send them to you for about $20 I think. I'll send you an email.

    Hi Burt,

I'll send you a message with my phone and we can text/call to find a time for you to come over and check out the old axle and the Timbren installation.

Yes, that was us at Valley of Fire.  Love that place!  That's the 1948 Spartan Manor.  We use that trailer for longer trips and less demanding roads.

We love it too - next time we see the '48 or the '08 we'll knock on your door and say hello

@Cherokee, that would be great! It sounds like we travel in the same circles.
