I am looking for an awning for my Tab 320.  My stipulation is I want one that I don’t need to stake to the ground to secure.  Many of the places we camp are either cement pads or very rocky areas in the mountains.  Are there any other options other than a visor?  Would like more coverage than a visor provides.  Thank you in advance for any and all feedback!

Some owners for the concrete slab issue have used everything from "pavers" to water containers to hold things down.

I also camp in rocky spots (or just rock hard spots!) and I've used the long heavy duty tent stakes for anchoring out the guy lines. (They look more like giant nails).  They work...mostly.  I have bent several of them in the past.

Charlessyverson, one of the easiest is a half umbrella with a fold down stand. They come in 9 and 11 ft sizes, different colors, some have solar powered lights and are inexpensive. Can set up/take down in seconds. We strap ours to door handle and the front and back handles with adjustable paracord sliders with springs to handle strong winds. Doesn't matter what the terrain either. Been using it for a few years and we like the simplicity and how easy it is to close and not worry about it getting trashed in a storm. Especially handy for those multiple 1 day trips enroute to a final destination like a rally. Only problem is not a lot of coverage although have modified ours to attach an extension.

The Isabella, Walker and some AllPro awnings and tents that use stretcher poles and an outer hoop will set up with no stakes.  Anything to stabilize the two places the hoop contacts the ground and a cord to the top center of the hoop will firmly hold the awnings in place.  Just a 12 foot cord between the bottom points to prevent spreading and a center cord to a picnic table or the trailer bottom holding the hoop down works very well if needed in breezy conditions.
