Upgrading tires on the 2026 Haven

We have a 2026 Haven with Goodyear Endurance ST225/75R15.  I want to replace these with a slightly larger tire and am leaning towards the Kenda ST235/75R15 Radial Off-Road Trailer Tire - Load Range D.  According to nucamp,
"The minimum clearance from the center of the hub with the wheel/tire package as equipped is ~17", and the Goodyear Endurance tire (ST225/75R15) is ~28 1/4" in diameter.  We have not gone about the process of sizing out how much bigger you can actually go, but there's a sufficient amount of room to go bigger."

The Kendra should give us a bit more under carriage clearance and a better look.
I'm no tire expert so I have two questions; first the Kendra tire in general.  Does anyone have experience with it on their nucamp trailers.  Second, I'm sort of confident the Kendras will fit but again, I'm not a tire expert so wanted to ask "will they fit"?

I don’t have any experience with Kenda (Kendra?) tires. I do know there are myriad conversations on this app and others about getting rid of “China bombs” and installing Goodyear Endurance tires, specifically.

I made that switch about two years ago and have to admit it made me less anxious while traveling.

I would recommend searching out some of those threads here on the app.

Doesn’t Goodyear make a tire in the larger size you’re looking for?

Unfortunately, Goodyear does not offer a tire in the ST235/75R15 size.

235/75-R15 tires are 0.59 inches (15 mm) larger in diameter than 225/75-R15 tires so not much difference for the additional 1/4" clearance you'd get. Main difference is width and tread. Non-traction tires so width won't make much of a difference either. Not worth the change for size. Only difference is if you think a off road tire would be more useful or just look nicer. Not needed for campgrounds. The Kenda tires are wider. Make sure you have clearance width wise. They will also be less efficient gas milage wise.

Thank you.  While I love the Haven, I'm not happy with the low squat look.  I knew there was "growth" in the wheel well but also learned if I wanted a bigger tire, say a 16, I would also need a larger rim.  So, I went back to the original size on our 400.  From your note, it appears I would not gain much by going with the 235/75-R15.  Thank you, you saved me a bit of money.  On a different Haven topic, I learned that the iron triangles on the back of the Haven are bolted on.  I've rubbed them a few times are relatively low grades so I personally think they are too long.  I think I'm going to remove them and have a local welder shorted them a bit.  I will need to measure so I don't cut them too short and they continue to function as intended.
