Question about sanitizing my tab 400

I just brought home my new to me tab 400. I want to sanitize the freshwater tank and I was wondering if the sanitization process would work fine if I have it on my driveway which is just very very slightly at a slope. I don't have any place else to put it in the townhome area. I live in and I'm trying to figure out if the driveway will do the job as well

Welcome to the Forums…and congratulations on your new trailer!

It always helps to know what year your trailer is. There are now an amazing number of variations on all the trailer years, and things can get confusing fast. Even the same "model year" of a trailer may have several "variations" of equipment.

Is the trailer sloped "forward and aft"? You have some control of the slope by adjusting the tongue up and down.

Side to side can be more of an issue. Do you have any of the various "levelers" that trailer owners use? The fresh water tank drain (depending on the year) may be on the "high side" of your slope, so the tank may not drain correctly. Same thing with the other low point drains. You can level the trailer with the various leveling devices (BAL, Anderson, blocks of wood, etc) and adjust the level of the trailer to your advantage.

"Leveling" devices are one of the many things trailer owners like to discuss over a campfire. This is one thread as an example.

Seconding the recommendation to level your trailer, as you would at a campsite, before filling the fresh tank to sanitize. I learned this the hard way … mine (also a 2024 BD) wasn’t leveled appropriately, and I wasn’t unable to fill up the tank properly as a result! Here’s the thread with my troubleshooting and some diagrams of the tank.
