T@B 320s 2019 fixing a leak

Hello folks, I have a problem that I uncovered back in May, but only starting digging into this, this past week. I posted a message back then, but could not try much.

So there is a definite leak behind the panel of the water closet. I have a picture to show the PEX that is definitely leaking when I turn on the city water. THe questions I have is around the PEX, and the way to pop off that connector. Is that a standard size, or something I can get from HomeDepot. I'm trying to understand if I need a special tool to pop the silver connector at the end?

Second question is around getting to work in that area. I removed 4 square insert screws off of the panel, in an attempt to remove the whole panel assembly. It didn't seem to let release anything. I can see there may be some strong caulk on the whole panel assembly to keep it water proof in that area. Is it just a matter of boxcutter the edges, and that should release it?

Thanks for any help you can provide.

Looks like I was able to replace the faulty line, and elbow by working thru the opening above the toilet panel. I thought it would be an issue getting in there. I was able to crimp connect 3/4 of the connectors , and I used a sharkbit for the last connection, since I couldn't get the crimp tool in there.
