Well, I did it! 2016 Silver and Black Outback.  She has the new Alde control, tank monitor, under covering and a battery shut off switch!  I towed her home and was pleased. Had a bit of a problem with hitch release but thanks to this forum I " clawed " it and applied grease. I have been bonding with her ever since. Fixing her up inside for the pugs and me....Boho I think.  When things are set up right I will post a pic. Thank you  again for all the help available on this forum!!!!!!!!!

I do love her already!  The cut off switch came on it, I was so excited to see it that I forgot to ask....but suspect it comes on the Outback.  A fine thing I suspect

Blu, cut-off switch didn't come on the Outback my sister bought (mid 2015), but is a welcome addition! You sound prepared and ready to go! I get all excited when I hear of a new T@Baby being brought home.

Congratulations!  I hope you have many exciting adventures with her.  Just two points (1) check the lug bolts on the spare and main tires.  They may be a different size than your tow vehicle (i.e. your tow vehicle lug wrench may not work). (2) Your front stabilizer jacks may not touch the ground when fully extended (mine don't), so get some 4x4 wood blocks before heading out.  The rest will come as you go!

Somewhere here we have several lug wrenches....will need to check them.  Thanks for the 4x4 block tip....was wondering about that.  Now for the generator, metal handle, and the best way to secure to the front shelf??? Seems Honda is having a 899.00 sale at Depot and Northern Tool.  Have level blocks from last RV. Need to get a T level tho. And....practice backing.....lots of practice.

We got our 2016 outback in October. We love it. So far, we've only been on 2 weekend trips and haven't used the indoor facilities. Taking it to our condo in Fl next week- first big road trip! We also want to do the bed modification so we don't have to set up the table. It's so much fun thinking about how we'll personalize it. We named it sugarsh@ck.

Congratulations!  Enjoy her, use her, laugh, and love her!  I brought my T@B home two years ago on December 8th when it was 9 degrees in Denver, Colorado.  Best decision I made was to buy my ClemenT@B.  What a joy!  Happy Travels.
