Yes, the FT RVers are very keen about the experience. Not my cup of tea, as they suggest you buy from the farmers and you have to be in the right areas. I bet some of the Finger Lakes vineyards are on there, though, which might be nice.

It looks like there are several wineries near Seneca Lake. Can't see which ones until you register. We love visiting wineries and farm stands and I have no problem buying some fresh produce or a bottle of wine in exchange for a night's parking, we'd probably do that anyway (only so much room in a T@B for wine storage). Seems like a nice alternative to Walmart or a truck stop.
Never heard of this before but it sounds as if it might have been in business for a while?

If you are going to Seneca Lake, Watkins Glen State Park is very nice, but also quite busy. I grew up less than 30 minutes from there. The North Country trail cuts through the park.

I wouldn't drag the T@B to local wineries, but I like the idea of stopping for the night at charming places when we travel cross country.
If any T@Bbers are traveling thru NYS, I highly recommend visiting some of our Finger Lakes wineries. We are known for our whites, and famous world wide for our Rieslings.

Never mind "traveling thru," the Finger Lakes are a destination in their own right! If you like wine (and have a strong liver) you should make visiting a priority. As a bonus, there's plenty of hiking/biking/kayaking/scenery to distract you between happy hours!

Plus top notch universities and hospitals, and tons of history and culture. I've lived lots of places, but WNY is the best.
