During the camping season what do you do with your fresh water tank between trips? In hot weather I can imagine that two or three weeks could easily allow some interesting things to start growing in the tank. I came home from the dealer 2 weeks ago and the tank was full. I won't be able to camp for at least another week so today I pumped the tank as empty as I could. First thing I noted was the gauge still said the tank was 19 % full even though the pump could no longer pick up any water. I don't know if that is a limit on the sensor or if there is that much water left in the tank.
My question is do you leave your tank full or empty between trips? Do you add anything to it go prevent anything from growing in the tank between trips?
If this has been covered feel free to point me to the link but I could not find this exact information after doing several searches.
Thanks

2) I sanitize the tank once a year in the spring with bleach when de-winterizing. (Lots of threads on this.)
3) I never drink water from the fresh water tank; I only drink bottled water when traveling with the T@B. I use water from the fresh water tank for washing things and I don't worry too much about things growing in the tank.
