Fridge Fan While Traveling?

Has anyone run their extra, manually-controlled fridge fan while driving down the road?  Would this be too much for the battery to handle even though plugged into my tow vehicle while driving?  What's been your experience with this?

    I forgot to turn it off and remembered after a few hours of driving.  The fan pulls very little voltage so I did not worry about it.
     
    Furthermore, I would not worry about it being on unless you are maxing out your TV battery consumption (running AC/radio/DVD/extra fridge/windshield wipers/headlights/coffee maker/extra fridge...you get the point). 

     I usually turn it off while driving as the wind will push air around.

    I think the pump could easily  with inadvertently left in and that would be a bigger concern in terms of power drain.

    Jenn - Ya, the pump drawas a bunch. Fridge fan barely none.
