We like our drawer under the passenger side bench so much I added one in the cabinet under the sink in our 2014 Max S. The drawer is 10"wide x 7"height x 16"deep (outside dimensions). It's mounted on 16" slider. To clear the front lip I had to raise the slider track about 3/4". Above the drawer I added a small shelf for our dish dryer rack. We still have a bit of organizing to do as you see in the top photo. I just wanted to show how the space looks fully stocked
So Spruce1, where is that drain line routed in the bottom cupboard? Does it come back to the front-left of the cupboard?
That's what mine does (2015-S). Looks just like Spruce1's up top, but comes forward just below the floor of the upper cabinet. Necessary, I assume, so the drain can reach the gray-water tank.
I think our drain line wasn't quite yet perfected...
I wonder if I can get at that lower area well enough to re-route the line. It would certainly be worth the effort. However, I haven't got a clue how they got their hands in there to connect up the fresh water tank's lines. Tiny hands? It might have to wait to be a winter project.

Yeah, tiny hands or not, there's definitely some inaccessible utilities in my T@B (particularly in the wall cavity behind the toilet). All I can figure is that things were installed during a certain point in the build, and then permanently enclosed.
Hope I never need to get to those areas. Glad I own a Sawzall... :-)
Nice pics, Cyclonic. Do you happen to have one of the final framing just before the roof goes on? I'm particularly interested in the layout/construction of the aluminum struts that support the roof.
Another recent thread discussed the installation of the Yakima rack on a non-Outback T@B. Ratkity gave a great description of how she installed hers, but a photo of the actual skeleton would be helpful in visualizing how it all goes together.
This is one I have from the front, taken in 2014. I don't think much has changed since then. I'll have to look and see if I have anything newer or better.

Hi ChanW: I believe your question was answered in the dialogue above, but just to close the loop here are pics of where the drain pipe exits the top shelf ( to the left of the paper towels) and where the pipe comes forward in the bottom cabinet and exits in the front.
I did a similar modification (no shelf, but draw). Have added 6 sliding draws in various locations in the kitchen area (silverware drawer, kitchen dishes and pots and pans, miscellaneous tool and light drawers) and I've been very happy with the increased ease of organizing and accessing everything. I used two sliders for each for a bit more strength.

Our sink drain line runs differently from yours. Ours is in the front of the cabinet, not the back.
But the drawer and shelf is just the ticket!

But...how is that tiny woman able to walk up and down the walls like that?
Sorry, @Spruce1. I think I derailed your thread. Nice job with those cabinets!

Oh! Maybe it's a heater to keep your clothes warm? (Doncha' just hate chilly closets?)
(Although I do like the idea of a heated bathroom...)
