T@B Outback Cover

I have been researching covers for my T@B. Classic Accessories carries covers for the R-pod that should work. They have one that fits a 13'1" x 6'6". Do you think that will fit the T@B Outback? My T@B delivery has been delayed until later this month so I can't measure the width. They also stock a cover for a 16' 6" teardrop... wondering if that might cover the propane box and a spare tire I'm having mounted on the tongue.
Any advice would be most welcome.

Be very careful if ordering a cover from PahaQue. Several member posted problems with the covers being too small. Also, don't forget about that Yakima spare tire rack on the back when measuring.2016 Outback 320

Forgot about the Yakima... maybe the larger cover would be best.2017 white/black trim T@B Outback; 2017 white Subaru Outback; Seattle

@OreoTAB the body of our Outback measures 11' 3" from stem to stern *but* there's another 20" in front for the battery/LP box. Because of the location of the LP gas valve the front box needs to be under the cover. The height of the body is around 6" 3" not including the vent fan cover and the width is around 76"
My *opinion* is because of all of the air space created under the cover at the front when extended out over the battery/LP box I would say 13' would be a fit on the length. It's close enough to where I might try it myself.
I think the 16.5' cover would be waaaay too big - it would extend out past the end of the tongue.
Hope this helps.

It does, thank you. I may wait until my T@B is delivered and drive it over to Classic as they are only a few blocks from my home.2017 white/black trim T@B Outback; 2017 white Subaru Outback; Seattle

Pictures of the 16 on our Outback. I like that I can pull it tight over the tongue to cover everything. Fits good enough for me.

I do like the idea of it covering the tongue box. Do you also jump out of airplanes?2017 white/black trim T@B Outback; 2017 white Subaru Outback; Seattle

Only if they're on fire OreoTab.

In the pics I only had it pulled over the propane box, but now I keep it pulled over the ball coupling. It's gotten a few small tears, but nothing too serious. I suspect it will last about 3 years in our weather, but for the price, I think it's a good deal.

db, I get little tears in my motorcycle cover. The self-adhesive canvas tent patches work amazingly to patch them and will stop rips and little critters from making cocoons in the rips. You can get the patches in several colors. Seeing as it's an Oreo, you can have a mega white center with little chocolate bits in it like Oreo Ice Cream!2017 820R Retro Toy Hauler from 2015 Tabitha T@B from 2009 Reverse LG Teardrop (but a T@Bluver at heart)

Camping World website has an Internet special on 16' R-Pod cover for $131. Best price I've found.2017 white/black trim T@B Outback; 2017 white Subaru Outback; Seattle

Just for clarification I was measuring only the body - bottom of trim to top of trim for purposes of using a cover. Measuring from the ground to the top of the vent cover is something entirely different - I think it's in the 93" range . -
I like the look of the cover that db_cooper has. We just got our Outback and need to get a cover. I'm a little confused as to which version of the cover you got, db_cooper.

Tgew... I was the originator of this discussion. I purchased the Model 1 for my 2017 Outback. It fits great... it covers the tongue box, the spare tire and the tongue jack. I purchased mine through Camping World... they must have had a better price than Classic. The order number is 80-198-141001-00.2017 white/black trim T@B Outback; 2017 white Subaru Outback; Seattle

@OreoTAB Your timing is awesome! I was just getting geared up to do the research to get this exact answer. This forum is so fast at answering questions that now you don't even have to ask.
Thanks!

I can't recommend that first cover, it only lasted 10 months, it was not UV stable, and started ripping as soon as the rain came. It couldn't handle a PNW summer apparently. I did like the fit, it was the 16'6" version 1 I believe.
I've since replaced with the ripstop version, which is lighter and easier to put on. But it doesn't for as well, as it is for bigger rpods. It easily covers the tongue, but is a little wide. It works though, I can still enter the trailer, and I think it will last longer.

I'll be testing my Model 2 out this summer in an Alabama sun. Will be interesting to see how it holds up. It's been doing well on these stormy days of late.
