I just joined this forum.  I am very interested in the new Tab400.  After seeing the European version I was very excited to learn they will soon be available in North America.
I find these forums are invaluable for all sorts of information.  I look foreward to seeking and getting answers from all you experienced "Tabbers"

    I am hearing they are to start production in the early part of 2017.  My local dealer thinks realistically to see one will be end of 2nd quarter of 2017 or into the third quarter.  This kind of timing would be perfect for me

    Welcome aboard.  There is a lot of excitement surrounding the 400, it has been a long time in coming, but it will still be a little while as well.

    And the non-silly answer to a question is: Yes, Virginia, propane tanks only run out between 10 pm and 4 am. And if they run out then, you are using the Alde and you get cold!

    Changing tanks on the T@B is 100x better than stooping under the queen-sized bed that's pulled out on a popup camper at 2am - with the old style tanks when you needed 2 wrenches. Ugh. Loved the old camper otherwise - it lasted 13 yrs. It's a universal small/tiny camper phenomena....the cold, late-night propane tank change race! How fast can you change a tank at <40F?

    I was camping in a National Forest campground with an across-the-country bicyclist across the road from me. The propane ran out sometime after midnight. I pulled another blanket over me because I didn't want to disturb him in his small tent......it did get chilly, and I waited until about 7 am (the end of quiet hours) to quietly change out the tanks. At least I knew he got a good night's sleep for his 50+ mile journey the next day.

    Ya know how a song gets stuck in your head and you just can't get it out, just keeps recycling? Seems a few have that problem with pink flamingo imagery.

    You know, they make the cutest pink bunny slippers with ears and everything. I used to have a cat that chased my feet around cuz of them ears.

    Although I've been lurking around for a few weeks and reading just about every post, I finally did it. This past Monday I became the proud owner of my "new" 2015 Max S. Only thing I found out when towing it home was how badly my TV pulled it. My SUV was rated to pull up to 3500#, but I think it's a bunch of hogwash on the manufacturer's part. Anyway, it looks like I'll have both a new trailer and soon a new TV. C'mon springtime!

    SAM, my exTV was a 2012 Cadillac SRX with factory tow package. My new TV is a 2016 Explorer with a class III tow package. I know that I won't have any trouble now.
