Paint damage from tree sap

Hi everyone - I just joined this forum because I'm in the market for a T@B trailer and I found a beautiful one but with damage on the roof from tree sap. According to the seller the sap removed the clear coat in places so I'm concerned about the asking price and long term consequences if I don't fix it. Any thoughts on this would be greatly appreciated.

There's an awfully sweet looking T@B for sale in NC for a steal of a price. No vested interest. Just pointing it out.Mark - 2016 T@b Max S (Silver/Red), 2012 F-150

We keep that expensive Pahaque cover on ours for just that reason!

Assuming the roof is a single sheet of aluminum, I would think clear coat issues would be purely cosmetic. Depending on the extent of the damage, you could probably even buff down the offending spots and touch them up with a rattle can.
