We have a 2017 T@b Max S. The dealer claims that the scuff marks on the upper right frame on the entry door is NOT a scratch but is common due to manufacturing. Do YOUR doors have this scuffing? Thanks
It's aluminum. If it bugs you, you can wet sand it with progressively finer sandpaper, and even polish the whole thing to a mirror finish if you really want some bling!
Yeah, I once took all the smooth parts off my 450 Honda's engine, polished the hack out of them, til they were 'mirror finish' (final polish was jewellers rouge).
Looked great! For about a week. Then the old aluminum oxidation took hold. No more mirror... Lesson learned: crows like shiny things. I don't have to.

Mother's Polish is the best. Use the soft drill fuzzy that comes with Mother's in their kit. Make sure the door trim is not coated aluminum. I use it for uncoated steel motorcycle rims (which need to be done soon).
