Refrigerator light

2017 Outback Max S. This is our first trip and so far so good. We are at an RV park with 30amp hookups. We have the fridge set to shore power. There is a button/switch in the upper right corner of fridge. I'm assuming this is the power button?  It's illuminated green when it is on, which is pretty annoying at night.  We are going to put a piece of duct tape/electrical tape over this light unless there is a better solution......

Do you mean the round black rocker switch mounted on the cabinet?
That is the fridge cabinet fan button to vent hot air.
You can turn that off at night unless it's hot outside and you're trying to keep things cool inside.

Yep, fridge aux fan - If your countertop feels hot, turn it on. If the internal fridge fan runs alot, turn it on. You can feel the heat exit the vent to the right of the door. I've found you need to run that a lot more when on electrical hookup than on propane. I actually run my fridge on propane even when hooked up and rarely have to use that fan.

I have gorilla duct tape over that light. It's bright at night, but not obnoxious during the day.
