Water Gravity Fill Replacement

On my last outing I was filling my freshwater tank and the 5 gallon jug slipped, breaking the fresh water fill cover. I was able to close it, but it won't take much for it to fall off. I looked at replacements. I can either get the type that came with the T@b or try this one from CW.  The lone reviewer at CW claims he/she is able to fill their tank much faster and with greater ease.

Has anyone else replaced theirs and if so, what do you recommend? Will I need to caulk when I replace (assume, "yes")
