@Dptrit- We have the same thing happen every time we try! Have put out messages to several people who have it on their signature, and no one has been able to help. @Verna - any ideas? The only thing I wonder is if those people had it before the upgrade for the forum. @LaurieOregonGal- thanks for asking!

As @2Cougs noted this appears to be a limitation of the new forum format. Perhaps a moderator or nüCamp IT can enable the function to allow images on signatures. Until then you'll need to go analog (ex. AK-MT-NV-CA-UT).

Someone on this forum gave me a link to do a similar map. I followed the link and it worked but along with it I picked up an annoying pest that now shows up every time I open my browser. It's called online map finder. If you get it and I hope you don't, expect to have to have a professional get rid of it for you.

Visitedstatesmap.com it won't let me copy and paste the URL, so I just copy the image, resize it, and load it into my signature like any other pic. There may be a better way, but that's what we do.

I went to the website and made my map. When I tried to insert the map into my signature, I used the URL for my picture but it didn't work. I think that I'm missing something.
I have never been able to copy and paste in the URL... I actually save the image to my computer. Then I have to resize it. Then I use the symbol just above this box that allows you to select a photo on your computer to upload.

Well, I got that my first try too. Then I went to the site and copied my map from the screen as a jpg. I went to my edit screen and had the cursor below my text. Now, choose the rectangle with a pic from the selections above the text box. It will say Insert an image. Find your saved image and then save your edit. Tada! Hopefully you will have more states than we do. Just to be clear, I am only listing states we have been to with our T@bby, not where we have camped. We'd have a lot more...

Well, who knows what changed, but today, following Alan's directions, I finally managed the map. The only difference being I selected the smallest sized map on the site, and I was able to copy the URL into my signature. No resizing needed on this poor iPad and no copy and pasting required. In case you haven't tried it lately on your iPad @2Cougs, you might try again when it's time to add a state. Thanks @WillieontheRoad and all of you who've helped us technologically impaired members. For any of us who might be struggling with technology...I added my map on a home computer. Don't know how I would do it on our IBook. The map site Judi recommends works fine. No need to find another site. https://visitedstatesmap.com/ I would add all the states you plan to visit in let's say the next three months. Reason...You will need to do these steps all over again when you need to add more states. Copy the map with states selected as a small URL as Judi suggested. Then go to your profile page and select 'edit profile'. Select 'signature settings', and find the symbol that looks like a little landscape. This will have a drop down menu. Select 'image URL' and paste your copied URL from the map site. Hint...shortcut for copy on PC's is C'NTRL c. Mac shortcut is command c. shortcut for paste on PC's is CNTRL v. MAC shortcut is command v. This shortcut will save you much time when you are adding photos, text or images, etc. Good luck, Alan

@WillieontheRoad - I misspoke above, I should have said no copy and pasting of the Map! Itself Is needed. My iPad photo library is full of these maps. And I realized that in the past, I was trying to copy and paste the URL from the web address site at the top of the screen, like I always do when copying a URL, while ignoring the actual field on the page which clearly states Copy and Paste Image URL. Too impatient, too much chatter on the page. I can hear multitudinous teachers' voices in my head- Read the instructions at the top of the test carefully-All right students, you may begin. Sheesh.
