Can non-URL linked images be added to Signature?
    If so, HOW ?

The signature 'picture' pull down only has the URL option.  Does not have the browse my computer option like normal message posts:

So how can one include a Custom Map that is on their computer . . . .

Solutions above in this thread use the URL method.

Sorry, @MuttonChops, no idea how to do that...  :-)

Seriously, I just dragged the photo into the text box with my signature. It automatically re-sizes to a maximum of 300pxl, but as you can see, that's still pretty big. If you do this, you probably want to start with small image.

    MuttonChops,
I sent detailed steps for including maps on Jan 25.  Try putting adding maps in the forum search bar, then go back to the first page.  You are not able to add an image of the map in your signature.  You need to copy the map site URL and paste that when you click on the little landscape symbol.  Hope this helps.

    Details please, Dragged How?

If I drag the picture filename (or do a copy / paste) only thing that appears in the signature area is a little box icon of the filename . . . no image.

Perhaps you have more editing/control rights than I ?

@MuttonChops Are you on a smart phone, desktop or tablet? I think the drag and drop functionality exists only on desktop platforms, I know I can't do it on my ipad. Of course i could be wrong, it happens with disturbing regularity.

Hmmm, I'd guess it's more to do with your system than any special privileges I have. (I'm on desktop Mac at the moment.)

All I did was grab the file from my desktop and drag it into the the text box where the rest of my signature was. It's the same thing I do when I want to add a picture to the body of a normal discussion post. Exhibit A...

    Think I Got it
    Really this time.

First I used the URL to load a standard map.
After that I could drag filenames over and the image would appear and remain (not shift to an icon)

So if a map appears below I did indeed to it.
