New used T@B S (2015) owner here. There's an On/Off button near the A/C. I can hear a fan when I turn it on but what does it actually do? I looked in the owners manual which is no use whatsoever Thanks for the help.
That is to be turned on when you run the air conditioner - There's a fan that exhausts or intakes air (depending on who you ask) for the AC ... There's a black vent protruding out the top of you're T@B, that's where the air is taken in or exhausted.
Search "how to remove the air conditioner" for photos of the fan. The side vents on the AC take in fresh air. The rear vent expels hot air. That's why you see the foil tape at the rear of the unit - to prevent the hot air being drawn into the side vents. The fan sucks in fresh air from the roof for the side vents.

Ahhhh something new to teach my dealer! We were told at the walk through that you switched it on for fan only from the a/c. Didn't exactly make sense to me, now I know why.

Our 2014 does not have that switch. It has the black vent cap above on the roof. The AC is very inefficient for such a small trailer. Sounds like adding this fan would be a good idea.

@Homebodyatheart, If you look at the face of your A/C unit, there is a fan only setting on the A/C itself. Agree with @OutbackAZ and the separate fan switch on the wall. You'll notice a big difference on a hot day when you're using your A/C and you turn the auxiliary fan switch on the wall to the "on" position. @Dalehelman and a few others have put directional vents on the outside A/C vent cover to assist with the air flow as well. Don't recall the thread it was on, but from what they were saying, it increases the efficiency quite a bit.

Kbaggins - I would strongly suggest you add the vent fan. It's only a computer cooling fan. Just make sure the airflow arrow on the fan housing points down (into the A/C cabinet). Also add the two vent deflectors on the outside grill when using the A/C.

of these directional vent deflectors? This is the first I've heard of them.
