Hi all!
My TV comes with a 4-pin wiring harness. If I use a wireless brake controller (like a Tekonsha Prodigy RF controller), *and* I know that a 4-pin will not enable my T@B battery to charge while towing, can I get away with using a 4-pin to 7-pin adapter to tow my T@B?
(*dealer is being a pain in the arse about installing a 7-pin, saying it will void warranty, etc... I just want to try to get functional for now and then find another dealer, an independent install place or even consider running a 7-pin wire harness myself at a later point, so just want to know if I can do it for a while on a 4-pin...)
Thanks!

I have used the Tekonsha controller (great unit!) and you will make your life much easier by allowing it to adapt easily to a vehicle with a 7-pin receptacle.
Does the prodigy rf controller also need the 12V power?

The module in your T.V. also needs 12v power but it gets it from a cigarette-lighter plug in your T.V.

Back to the drawing board and will try to argue with the dealer again tomorrow to have a 7-Pin installed. :(
