Window tabs

has anyone had trouble with the gray plastic window tabs breaking or snapping off? Are they even necessary?

@Jeege, They hold the screen and the shade together so you can slide them both either together, or separately. You can contact the parts department for replacements. Go to the right under CATEGORIES, and scroll down to T@B Contact Numbers, click on the T@B Contact Numbers & Info. Hope this helps you out.

Mine pop off all the time. I just pop them back on.

The one on my front window pops off all the time.  Like Photomom, I just pop it back in place.

What are these T@B tabs of which you speak? To think that all this time I've been holding the screen and shade together with my opposable thumbs!  ;-)
