Ikea Bedside Table Hack for CS-S Bench

I have a 2015 Clamshell and decided I didn't need the bench, but more storage instead. I purchased 2 Ikea bedside tables and my husband cut them to fit under the window and mounted them on the bench's boards. He added some side pieces of wood to cover the holes between the tables and wall and added a table top. I painted with Annie Sloan Chalk Paint.

Looks great and gives it a real homey feel and look!  Hopefully the drawers stay shut on inclines or after taking off from a light.  I hit an unmarked speed bump last spring in a mall out in Lake Havasu and had stuff strewn all over the trailer.

A couple of those Camco small tension rods in front of the drawers might do the trick. You could install catches for the doors.

Use closures like a sail boat, I find sail boat hacks work great in our Tab.

Soft-close drawers. So they have stayed shut on their own while traveling.

My toy hauler has soft-close drawers. Love them. So far so good with them.
