or posed a question to them, quoted them, etc. One of the reasons I try to use an @ sign before another member's name is-if they've set up their preferences to be alerted by a pop-up box, or via email, they'll get that alert when referenced specifically by user name. They will also see a red number to the right of their inbox on the right side of the banner by their name.
So, type an @ followed by the first few letters of their user name and that name will appear in a drop down box; tap it to select, the whole name will appear in the dialogue box. (No space after the
@sign)My apologies if everyone in the world knew this, but it took me weeks, weeks I tell you, to figure this out and I had help!
