What pressure are you using in the Steel Belted Radials on the 400's?

The radial tires look as though they are running low but the pressure is at 45+ psi.  The max press cold shows 50psi.  they are Nitrogen filled and only one place in our area has the nitrogen.  What pressure is recommended,  as I did not locate it in the owners manual?  thanks!

    Generally trailer tires are run about 5psi below the max on the sidewall.  That is the pressure needed for the tire to carry its stated max load.  Tread wear is rarely an issue with trailer tires.

    It sounds like your pressure is just right.
     
    Radials often bulge a little at the bottom especially at higher loads because there is no bias in the side wall cords.

    Thanks for the info!  Haven't found it in the owners manual.  What torque spec on the wheels do you think.  I usually run the alloy wheels in this size range around 90 FT lbs.

    The T@B 320's recommend 90 lbs of torque.

    @atlasb, I don't know. Marvin in warranty would be the best one for that answer if none of the other owners know. Tell us when you find out and I'll store that tidbit in the gray matter for the 400 ;). And thanks in advance.
