    When you're out in the wild, the last thing you want to do is wrestle with an obstinate hitch coupler when it's time to head back to the ranch.  In this case,  my Industrial Education classes paid off once again ;)

    Lesson learned: carry more tools in the T@B.

    Here we are 5 years, 15,000 miles, 170 nights and we still have to stomp on it to hitch, and carry a huge screwdriver to pry it off when unhitching.  We just have "one of those hitches!"  Have just learned work arounds. ;)

    And after a few trips in a row with easy/peasy hitching/unhitching, I recommend spray-on, white lithium grease to keep the hitch happy and moving freely. I apply a thin layer of fresh grease every time I hitch and wipe it off when I unhitch. I've heard others use silicone.
