Well Done and a clean install!  Look in the files for " Variable speed (PWM) ceiling fan mod == 10 bucks"  by Mutton chops.  I did this in ours and very satisfied with the outcome.  Credits to you for great work!!

    Thank you atlasb.  :)
I spent many a sleepless night pondering my fan choice. I need a cover/cowl to allow dry operation in rain/wind. Since I'll have to drill in the roof anyway, I am biting the (money) bullet and getting the Fancy Fan, but thank you for your help.  B)

Cover/cowls generally do not require drilling into the roof. They do require drilling 4 small holes into the vertical aluminum frame under the vent cover.

Enjoy the deluxe fan.  If I add the fan cover, can not make it in the 9ft door in our shop.  Let us know how it goes.

Road tested today! 30 mph side winds, torrential rain, highway speeds, and the antenna is still functioning and safely attached!  B)

I like the concept of this antenna, but have one question:

Has anyone tried it without the booster?

If so, what is the range?

The booster is needed. If I forget to turn it on I get zero reception.
