How is it Possible: U Versus S Weights

If you look at the NuCamp site and compare the weights of the T@B U and the T@B S models, you will find only 22 pounds difference

T@b S, 1788 Lbs. Total Weight without LP & Battery
T@B U, 1766 Lbs. Total Weight without LP & Battery

With the bathroom and black water tank and its plumbing, I am surprised that the difference is only 20 lbs.  Do you think this is accurate?

All of üCamp’s manufacturing process and results are inspected and certified by two independent certifying bodies (RVIA and Intertek) who deal with the smallest to the largest RV’s.  Both of these bodies certify to CSA/z240 and NFPA/1192 standards.

So, yes, it must be accurate or it cannot be printed on the side or tongue labels of each of their models.

I'm not overly surprised. Those weights are almost certainly taken with the holding tanks empty, and the plastic-fantastic bathroom probably doesn't weigh all that much compared to the extra cabinetry in the U. I'm almost surprised the additional woodwork doesn't weigh more than the little crapper!  :-)
