External Jerry Can and Shovel Mount for Outback?

About to pull the lever on a new 2018 T@B 320S Outback - has anyone added an external Jerry Can for more water to the outside and is there a solid spot to attach it?  For the shovel I see there are shovel mounts that would like attach to the back of the Yakima rack.

    A front aluminum rack would accommodate a Jerry can.

    @CincyKid, we use 2 6 gallon water jugs and just ratchet strap them to the Outback platform. Usually only carry 1 full and the other tossed on the bed as we travel.

    Lots of different things can go on the front rack.  Here is a thread with options for cans, etc.

    I think you could probably a fix a Quick Fist for a shovel mount.

    I have a 2018 Outback in Florence. Where in Cincinnati are you? (Assuming that CincyKid is short for Cincinnati Kid)
