How do you hang TV

hi everybody,

I just buy a Tv set for my T@B. At first, I was planning to hang the TV to  the small tablet on top of the windows (door side), but this tablet doesn't seem strong enough to do it.

How is you're TV is fixed. On the wall with screw or the tablet?

What year and model of T@B do you own? That information might help others to make suggestions. Also, check out the photos in the For Sale Category-those should show where televisions are generally mounted.

And, could you please take a photo of what you are calling the “tablet”?

Not my T@B, but i found a picture on google.

How do you call that ( english is not my native language)

You’re correct-the “valance or shelf” as I call it isn’t big or strong enough to mount the 19” tv that came with our T@B. We still need to know the year and model of your T@B because there are some structural differences. Thanks for the clarification of tablet! And perhaps the model/make of the tv you purchased.

Thanks for the photo.  We normally call that the wooden valance, hence the need for the photo.

You are correct, the valence is not strong enough for a TV.  But, closer to the door is vertical “column” that has the light switches on it that probably can be used for the TV. The TV’s used to be mounted to this column. Please realize there is electrical wiring inside the column.

The current TV’s are mounted to the wall that separates the bathroom from the cabin, if you have a bathroom. There are wood studs in that wall that the TV mount can be attached to.

So, my best option is probably the shower's wall.

    I have a 2017 CS Max.

    Thanks to all. Quick answer.

You’re very welcome @Clopidogrel. Now comes the hard part of your project for me. I think you have to get into the bathroom wall by removing the mirror to mount the tv mount but am not certain, so I’m moving away from this thread to let more knowledgeable folks help. Good luck going forward!

Yes, the shower wall would be best.

There is an easier way to find the studs inside the shower wall. Remove the bench seat cushions next to the shower wall, remove the one screw holding the piece of plywood on the bench.  Be careful of the electric wiring under the bench.

Look at at the bottom of the wall and you’ll see the bottom of the studs inside the wall. The studs go straight up and you can figure out where to attach your TV mount.

A stud sensor should be able to find it. For next weekend, i will put it on top of my drawer I'm working on:

Alexis and I saw a 2018 320 T@B in person and she liked the drawers too. I wonder if they can be added/retrofitted to our 2017 CS-S and how much? Currently our CS-S has the bench seat in front.

    Final cost is around 120$.

@ChrisandAlexis, I suspect that is very doable for nuCamp.  Especially if you just wanted to add on top of the current bench, but I would also ask for a price to replace the entire unit.  They now come with cabinets on the left and drawers on the right I think.

Thanks @SAM, I will check with NuCamp regarding an addition or replacement.

Yes, 2 cabinets on the right and 4 drawers on the left have the marine closures. Our bottom cabinet has plumbing going to the wetbath and the bottom drawer is half depth.
