Our grill has a regulator where the hose connects to the grill, and the T@B has a regulator mounted on the front wall diamond plate behind the tub. The video does not appear to show how the hose connects to the grill, but maybe there is a regulator under the grill where the hose connects.

I agree that the regulator is important. However, as BrianZ implied, most devices have their own regulator. Sometimes it's integrated into the hose, however, so make sure if you replace your hose you don't accidentally eliminate your regulator!
I use a similar set-up with slightly different connections. The far end of the hose connects to the grill or stove just like a 1lb propane bottle would. In those cases, the regulator is on the appliance itself.
