Had anyone replace the sink with a fold down model? Searched the forum, but didn't find anything. Would like something that dropped in the current hole if possible.
I take it you didn't like it? They look functional, but haven't used one to know. Was thinking we could use the extra counter space, but maybe they are more trouble than they're worth?
They don't drain. They have a 3/4" drain hose and the only way to get the water down is to elevate the sink up and down tell it's empty. I replaced it with this.
Looks great. Would you please be willing to provide some details? Make and price? Dimensions? Ease of install? Any problems with pulling the shower curtain in front of? Thanks.
Not being familiar enough with the design of the wet bath in the T@B 320 we cannot comment on the possibility of installation of a fold down sink but we can speak to the sink in the 400.
nüCamp is well aware of the issues with the folding sink in the T@B 400 and is working with the supplier on an improved design. R&D has been testing prototypes looking for the best features and function. Once they begin installing the new design on the 400 line it should also be available to us current 400 owners for retrofit. With that knowledge we personally are willing to work with the idiosyncrasies of the current design for now and will be listening for news on the new design in the coming months.
