A/C Fan

Hi all,
What is the purpose of the AC Fan (the switch beside the actual AC unit).

    @DavidLM ,To help draw hot air out of the cavity where the A/C is. The A/C works a LOT better with that fan going! Excellent question though! You might want to also search some of the A/C posts as well. There are some excellent mods that have been done to help the A/C unit work better, and more efficiently! ;)

    And if you took out your air conditioner you can re-purpose the fan as a swivel-mounted personal cooling device. It's a bit loud, but it makes a breeze that puts the Not-So-Fantastic Fan to shame.  :-)
