Has any one come up with a way to mount a bike rack to the back of a tab 320. I have an idea to utilize the spare tire mount and a membran attached to the frame. When I get a prototype made up I will post it.
I recall a photo from some time back where two bikes were mounted upright on the Outback/Boondock Yakima rack. Seemed like a pretty slick solution.
There's been several queries about fitting a receiver hitch to the back of the T@B, but the general consensus is that the receiver arm would be too long and any attached rack would bounce too much.
Most people who carry their bikes on the trailer seem to use a front mounted rack of some sort. Like Eric suggested, I think lots of people would be interested if you came up with a different solution.
I am vertically challenged and still need a ladder to get the bike on or off. Ask me what happens if stacked blocking is used as a short cut. I thought gravity was my friend! The towers have one screw that goes into the aluminum framing. Maybe someone knows about moving the bars down a little?

@1bentbike : We have a pair of folding recumbent trikes, which pose a larger problem when finding a place to mount them. So for now we store them in the tow vehicle. More of a hassle to load / unload, but worth it for all the benefits of recumbents.

Moving yakama bars are easy. You have to have the key, however. Then there's a flip-release. You can look up Yakima and see how it works. If you don't have a key or weren't given one, then I believe the people at Yakima or the dealer can help.

@tybladesmith are you asking about moving the Yakima racks themselves lower on the back? If so, double check with a call to NuCamp but I think the inner aluminum frame beams are set every 8”, but I’m not sure exactly how wide each is, or if some are better at weight bearing than others. Good luck !

The tracks themselves can't be moved. They are in the aluminum roof struts. Anyone who has installed them knows that you cannot use the pre-drilled holes. The 2015 T@B had its first strut starting 10" from the tail trim. Then they were every 8".

Has anyone done something similar to tybladesmith on the back of a T@B 400? I have that same style Yakima bike rack on top of my suv, but having the bikes on the back of the trailer would be much easier to access. I realize the crossbars would block the rear window from opening, but they are easy to take off once you get setup at camp.
My solution will be to mount a 2" spotting hitch on the front of my Jeep Wrangler with a hitch mounted 1UpUSA bike rack and put the bikes out front. That location should work regardless of the current mission for the Jeep.
