Day 3 of new ownership

My new toy is parked next to the house and plugged in to shore power. After two days the AC unit seems to be struggling to cool the interior. All of the shades are drawn and the door is only occasionally opened. Its in the mid nineties here, so is this typical? By all appearances the Alde is not turned on.

Secondly the fridge does not seem to get cold enough.

What am I missing?

Both are common newbie issues until you learn the tricks.
Suggest you do some 'searches' on your topics.  Search box at upper right . . . you will find lots of threads with solutions to consider.
Operated with the 'tricks' both A/C and 3-way Fridge do a fairly good job

Do you have any windows cracked? The A/C actually works better when there is a bit of airflow inside the camper.

@BogieMeister, make sure your air conditioner accessory fan is turned on (that switch on the wall) and crack a window.  Your ac needs help by that fan actually drawing in air (that’s what they said at uCamp, but I thought it vented hot air).  Run your overhead fan to help circulate the air.  When you say after two days, do you mean you had the ac running for 2 solid days or the Tab has been a heat sink for 2 days?  If your Tab is sitting in full sun, it will take a while to cool down.  It would be a good idea to create some shade - especially on the ac side.  That will go a long way to offset the inefficiences of the Tab window unit type ac.  There was another discussion about ac (maybe in the 400s) that the ac managed to cool the Tab to 75 with mid 90s temperatures.

What is your inside temp?  Make sure the Alde is turned off - if you tap the Menu button and nothing shows on the display, it is off.

Do a search on Norcold and there is a ton of info.
