Alde 3010 out and we're cold!

So we're up in Whistler BC winter camping and skiing in the best resort accommodations here (our T@B) and the Alde 3010 stopped working! I turned down the thermostat at bedtime and we woke up a wee bit chilled (frozen). Sooooo I think it's the thermostat controller. Tried to bypass with the emergency procedure in the manual but no wire to do so. 

Anyone with great knowledge or suggestions out there? I'd love to diagnosis one fix before we have to get outta here!

Also, is it worthwhile to upgrade to the digital thermostat and if so where do you get the bugger?

Larry, what is you source of power on the Alde at this time?

Tried both shore and propane, no go. No red lights. Checked all fuses, connections and propane. Dang, all I did was turn the heat down at bedtime!

I am sure you have checked, but there are two 3.15 Amp glass cartridge fuses in the Alde system itself. It is possible that either the control board in the Alde has failed or the thermostat control panel. 

I terms of of upgrading to the digital thermostat is possible. I considered it myself but I am thinking that when on the road, simpler is better and I am not convinced the digital unit provides sufficient additional features to warrant the cost. In addition you would need to set the clock each time the 12 volt system was powered off and back on again. 

You might want to call the dealer nearest Whistler, which is a new T@B dealer in Abbotsford.

Just dropped her off at the dealer. Main contro unit will be replaced under warranty. FYI
